Spoilers included in this review:I thought it was an ok read. I enjoyed some things about the book. The sex scenes were hot and I liked the HEA. Also I liked that during the separation that the author did not have Annabelle, the h, celibate and pining for the hero while the Cole, the H, slept with OW. They both slept with other people. The heroine had a boyfriend while the hero had a series of one night stands.
Things bothered me about the book as well. Annabelle pushed Cole away so much, blowing hot and cold. It was irritating. I loved that Cole was an alpha male, he took charge in the relationship. However I disliked that towards the end of the book for a while it felt liked Cole gave up on the relationship even when he found out that she is pregnant with his baby. It was like he was too tired or too depressed from her pushing him away and ignored her.
Also I thought it was unrealistic how many dangerous situations Annabelle kept getting into. It was like everyone was out to get her. She needed to be rescued on several occasions. It was to the point where she required bodyguards. It was tiring to read about. This suspense plot was unneeded and it detracted from the romance. A minor thing but I disliked that Cole kept calling Annabelle "belly". I kept imagining a baby or a chubby child. Since the reader is told that Annabelle looks like a model, the nickname does not fit.

(Even thought this is book three it can be read as a stand alone.)
I've been reading this series from the beginning and I was so happy to get Cole and Annabelle's story. Of course we get to catch up with some old friends too. Kelly wrote a wonderful romantic story with just the right amount of conflict to keep it interesting. I will look forward to anything Kelly writes.
No one is for sure of the love they had since high school. Trials just about push each other away. Their love is true but after Aaron her old agent kidnaps her and holds her at his sisters old house Ava thinks all may be lost. He beat her, handcuffed to a bedpost he tries to rape her when her Daddy and uncle comes busting thro the door. She lets Josh hold her a few minutes then she wants her Dad. Tennessee girl
Belly and Cole belong to together and he'll make sure it will happen. Even when she does anything and everything to push him away.
The overall book was good. Great story line. The mis-spellings, mis-use of words, missing words and lack of proof reading in general is really a mood killer in this book. I actually had to put it down twice because I couldn't handle any more of the poor grammer/word snafu going on.
I enjoyed this book, it never made me question why I was reading it. I have a hard time getting into books sometimes and I had no problem getting into this one. I love these love stories where the couple knew each other since childhood, I think they are really cute and sweet. The chemistry between Cole and Belly felt real and strong which is something I cant say I have read in other books. I also don't write a lot of reviews but I felt the need to write one for this one because it was an honestly good book and you should give it a chance. (
This was a good one. Loved the ups and downs. The romance and mess flowed perfectly. Great characters. A book I didn't put down. Good read.
They were always best friends and he always wanted to be the one in her heart, but they both needed to make their own ways. Current day finds them in different circumstances they ever thought.
